The Indiana Area XI 4-H Horse & Pony committee is made up of representatives from nine counties in northeast Indiana. These counties include Adams, Allen, DeKalb, Huntington, LaGrange, Noble, Steuben, Wells and Whitley.

The committee sponsors three event annually. These events are the Area Hippology contest, the Area Judging contest and the Area Horse Show. The hippology contest and the judging contest qualify 4-Hers to compete at the state-level in their respective events.

The committee also awards multiple $250 scholarships annually to 4-H members from the Area counties.

Two representatives (an extension educator and a county representative) from the Area Committee attend and have voting rights at the State 4-H Horse & Pony Advisory Committee meetings.
